Why Capitano

A small local operation, not a booking desk

Capitano runs out of Alipa Port in Paleokastritsa. You deal with the people who own the boats.

  • No license required

Rent a boat and drive it yourself. You don't need a boat license to take one out.

  • Straight to us on WhatsApp

Message us directly with your dates and your questions. Nothing in between.

  • A proper handover

We go through the boat, the controls and the safety kit with you before you cast off.

  • Local to Paleokastritsa

We're at Alipa Port. The coastline we send you out on is the one we know.

How it works

Three steps to the water

  1. Message us

Send a WhatsApp with your date, how many people are coming, and whether you want to drive or go out with a skipper. It is a booking once we confirm it back to you.

  2. Come to Alipa Port

Come to the Capitano office at Alipa Port about 30 minutes before you leave, and bring a valid ID. Parking at the port is free. If you're driving, we run through the controls, the coast and the safety kit first.

  3. Cast off

The coastline is yours — at the wheel yourself, or with a skipper at it.
